I’M BRIAN PRESNELL

I’m Brian and here’s a little bit about myself and my career as an artist, designer and furniture maker

Artist and Designer

Using reclaimed materials as well as locally sourced hardwoods, I have a passion for manufacturing artwork that is most commonly used for furniture or other statement pieces around the home. I’ve made an effort over the past 20 years to be more eco-friendly to avoid sending materials to solid waste dumps.

I also resource allot of the hardwoods I use from small mom and pop local sawmills around central Indiana.  It’s truly amazing that you can give a piece of wood a new life as a beautiful piece of furniture or design for your home and collection. My talents

I’m constantly working on new projects and always wearing a different hat. The best case scenario: Bring me an idea for a space you have. Then let me design you a handcrafted piece of art or furniture for your home or office.

Testimonials

WERNER LEDERER

PRESIDENT / SAFE ART SAT

I first met Brian while installing an Ursula Von Rydingsvard show at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 2000. I was immediately impressed with his attention to detail and his willingness to go out of his way to assit with anything. Over the years, I have come to appreciate not only his positive attitude, but also his artistic side. I am proud to say I own 3 original Presnell artworks and I have followed his rapidly developing career, whether it may be his prints, his carpentry, or his works with clay, they are all equally breathtaking.

DEREK B.

Brian was exceptional to deal with for the installation of donor recognition plaques at the Delta Tau Delta fraternity shelter on Butler's campus. His communication and flexibility were top notch. We will definitely be contacting him again for similar future needs.

Craig Von Deylen, AIA

Brian knows art, knows construction, knows cabinetry, knows woodworking, knows hard work and looks the part. Nothing throws him for a loop. I haven’t stumped him yet. Give him a try and you will know why.

Christopher West
